Tracktion Waveform should install on pretty much any distro by doing the following:

<code>$ ar xv waveform_64bit_v11.1.0.deb
$ sudo tar xvf data.tar.xz -C /</code>

The first command extracts the contents of the *.deb file. The second extracts the Waveform data archive into the root of your system. The Waveform11 binary ends up in /usr/bin/. If the launcher doesn't show up in your menus anywhere, you can launch it using a terminal (note the capital "W").
